they want to charge a fee for direct download to Quicken.

They want to charge?! That is a serious rip-off of the consumer. The only reason I can think for them to charge is they want to keep customers off of Quicken. This actually makes some sense if their end-game is to support only one interface. Migrating customers off of legacy PFMs is a nightmare. I personally use Quicken w/ OFX and love it.

They seem willing to support a customer who really really wants to use Quicken, for that they get a point in their favor but to charge more for a OFX d/l is very unfair.
