Michael, I have no problem with VTSS either. I think it is well-positioned in an explosive market niche. The only point I was making is that these kinds of comparison charts can be very misleading because shifting the starting point by a few periods can completely reverse the take-home message. It is probably better to examine these data by doing a linear regression of months regressed against the log of the price. That way a few outlyers don't determine the final outcome.

This phrase, however they are priced for near perfection does bother me. For some reason a lot of financial talking heads and analysts have latched onto it, and it really is quite sill if you think about it. That phrase can be applied equally to any liquid stock in any market environment. The market price of a stock captures investors' expectations at any time. It is no different in a bear market. It seems to me that the real issue is whether your expectations are higher or lower than the consensus.

Needless to say, my expectations of Vitesse are quite high compared to the market -- that's why I am long.

TTFN,
CTC
