Phone chaos in T.O.
TORONTO (CP) -- A large part of Toronto was without telephone service today after an electrical fire at a Bell Canada office.
There was no immediate indication how widespread the disruption was, but there were unconfirmed reports of problems elsewhere in Canada.
Telephones at Toronto police headquarters and all police stations in the city were out of commission, said police spokesman Const. Devin Kealey.
