November 12th may be potentially relevant to SYCD.

From Briefing:
15-Jul-99 11:50 ET
Hasbro (HAS) 28 1/8 +1 15/16 : Based on its latest earnings results, it is apparent that Hasbro has capitalized significantly on the STAR WARS product line, posting record second quarter revenues, earnings and earnings per share. STAR WARS, however, is just one piece of the pie as the success of its FURBY product, and increased sales of its computer-based games also played a major part in Hasbro's stellar results. To wit, the company reported net earnings of $32.3 mln, or $0.16 per diluted share versus $5.5 mln, or $0.03 in the yr-ago period. Worldwide net revenues were up an impressive 53% to $874.6 mln. Deservedly, shares of HAS are up nicely today as they had been in a steady decline since the start of May when STAR WARS, the movie, had been receiving some pretty lackluster reviews that fed concerns toy sales wouldn't be as robust as expected. Essentially, the stock relinquished all of the gains it had recorded in a March-April rally that saw HAS move from 25 to 37 ahead of the movie's release. Today's report, then, that STAR WARS toys are a big hit has provided a measure of relief for investors along with management's contention that it is looking forward to a strong second half during which time several new titles from Hasbro Interactive will be released, new STAR WARS products will be launched, FURBY BABIES will debut while two more limited edition holiday FURBY TOYS will be shipped, and the first animated POKEMON feature film will occur on November 12. The expected success of these offerings along with its other products provides the company with "even more visibility for the year 2000." Have to like earnings visibility in a company that trades at a sizeable discount to the overall market. Recognizing its own value, Hasbro bought back almost 5 million shares of its stock in Q2 and expects to accelerate its repurchases going forward. In the interim, investors might want to consider accelerating their purchases in Hasbro as the force certainly seems to be with it (couldn't resist). - PJO

GAEO is still going strong. I don't know about impact dates, but it made quite an impact since I first told you.
