Thank you for pointing out the difference to me of sarcasm and irony. Indeed, I know the difference and, after a brief point of explanation, you can see them used operationally below.

My comments about sarcasm were not at all directed toward JDN's comments but to those of other posters.

It is ironic that you should post such to me when I think the directions of those comments were obvious, and it is sarcastic of me to make this post to you.
