Komo Mai Puna, Yes, you are right Puna is a district...larger than the island of Oahu. It is the small town of Pahoa that I have driven through that seems to epitomize the character of your vast district. I first moved to Hawaii in 1977. I immediately embraced the cultural diversity that makes Hawaii the special place that it is. I subsequently moved to Korea and Germany to continue my appreciation for all peoples and things unlike myself. Hawaii is very special in its willingness and ability to embrace all peoples. It brings me great hau'oli. We are very laki to live Hawaii. I am very maika'i no, Puna....I hope to visit your personal place of paradise one day. Mary
