The Kyl bill is in Congress right now to try to ban Internet gambling in the U.S. on the federal level. It failed to pass last year (killed in the House in a big omnibus bill)...and has been watered down a fair amount this year. Some version of it may pass by the end of the year. (Odds are hard to state right now.) It hasn't had any trouble in the past in the Senate (where it is now)...but the biggest question is what the House will do and even what Clinton will do. The Justice Department has already said that the bill in unenforceable...because most (if not all) Internet gambling companies have their servers outside the U.S. That would leave enforcement up to Internet ISPs here in the U.S....and its questionable whether AOL and other ISPs would block certain email addresses where betting occurs. So there's no national law that bans Internet gambling outright. Do all the individual states outlaw it? Also, Starnet is the only on-line gambling company I know of that WON'T accept bets from U.S. or Canadian citizens. This is for their own on-line casinos. They make most of their money though from their licensees...and as far as I know the licensees do not follow that policy. Newman. I agree there is vulnerability to USA regulations on online gambling. If you want a legit USA gambling company look at UBET. They have subscription revenue from legal horse racing. If the net casino gambling is legalizd this one will soar. I don't like SNMM and the chart tells me it will go lower before a turn around. I have no position in it.
