My Friend Jim Willie,
Don't bash the shorts too much, I use shorts on POS type stocks, as a hedge.
I made a fortune shorting Zitel,was 70+% of portfolio at one time.
Then turned around and used proceeds(short profits are Cash) to buy
15 different companies. Through the process of buying my winners
and selling my losers, I bulked up on QCOM,
now approaching 50% of my portfolio of 6-7 stocks.

Sure is a nice day, Again :0)
