Hi again, Grayhairs,

and on behalf of everybody here, thank you for the explanations.
Personally, it's scary - I understood everything.

Here's the only part I disagree with:

<<Once the hole is cased and cemented to the top of the Temblor they will drill out the casing shoe and then proceed to drill towards their projected total depth (TD). At ~100 feet of penetration per day that'll take about ~20 days of drilling.>>

As you noted earlier, Mr. Darling is pretty darned good at poking holes in the ground. I have a feeling that if this thing is drillable to TD, he's going to get there lot quicker than in 20 days. Bet a few cyber-beers on that?! (gg)

Also,WRT:

<<Having spent considerable effort reconciling the APO working interests, I am convinced that KOB offers the best leverage.>>

and

<<I also have purchased a nice long term position in TMK simply for the huge windfall potential possible should any one of Cal Canal, Lucky Dog, or Pyramid Power be successful. Should none of those plays be successful, well TMK's interest in the ELH "minimum discovery" should still cover my downside.>>

I agree totally, in fact as you know, I'm in both. (Currently at 60/40) And I also still hold HTP as the second highest combined leverage play and so as not to end up holding an empty bag should somebody decide to take KOB away.

Back to the sore-fingers clinic. Have a great day.

P.S.

Watch out!! The squids are out.

Stealing a man's typing effort is almost as cruel as breaking into his cottage and stealing not only his booze, but also both - not one, of his cribbage boards.

Grayhairs, maybe I missed something earlier, you wrote >>> Once the hole is cased and cemented to the top of the Temblor they will drill out the casing shoe and then proceed to drill towards their projected total depth (TD). At ~100 feet of penetration per day that'll take about ~20 days of drilling.

Is not the well bore directional now? (x) degrees off of vertical? and then the well deviated at some point I assume at the top of the zone and once again (x) degrees until TD ie 45 degrees, I would not think there are to many "S" bends <ggg>

Thanks

Taff
