"Dirt Farm"....? Church/State Sanctioned Prostitution was not a preferable choice for Me...[there's that word again,"Choice"] I think you're getting hung-up on the word "suck"... Does your friend have a brain tumor, too? Glioma? Astrocytoma? I wonder how many milligrams of anti-convulsant medication she takes. I wonder which drug she takes...there are several, each with differing side-effects and contraindications. I wonder if she maintains maximum serum levels. I wonder what type of seizure activity she experiences, and how often. My life goes on. I am slowly becoming paralyzed on the right side... I re-experience the assault every day... The brain will scar just like other tissue, but neural/brain tissue itself is unique. I have a slowly enlarging mass of glial cells [or an astrocytoma] in an inoperable location...[well, unless I don't mind losing more motor function, as they would need to "clear the margin" and remove some eloquent cortex]. Think about it.
