What did you think of Hopkins in "Instinct?"

Yes definitely... software land is actually "non-manufacturing" land. Its where all the internet companies are now, its more like Hollywood and thus more liberal.

Like I said the entire state is being chopped up so who knows what it will look like then. A lot of male exectutives in silicon valley are republicans, mostly because they are so rich that they vote on tax concerns only, and those people do like Campbell. There is an occasional token woman at these republican functions and the press always asks them about the choice issue, where the new std reply seems to be 'choice is an issue in elections only, we have our laws and there are other matters which politicians can influence more directly'. Well, thats what the one woman said at the R fundraiser for Bush recently. I think California might be the entire reason Bush is backing away from the choice matter. He could probably win being more pro-life so I don't know why he bothers.

Anyway for me, my best outcome of the 2000 elections will be for Bush to win, but for some key states to go Gore purely on this choice matter. I know chances are Bush will win, and hes ok, but if Ca opts out it will send a message to Washington that women can't be railroaded on this. I know you all disagree but thats my hopeful outcome at this point.
