Robert

Someone just pointed out on the Yahoo NSM thread that Hughes was building a STB with a 133mhz Pentium. Doesn't that make for an end to the MHZ argument?

Robert,

Ok, How do you respond to Anthony's argument?

The argument in the past (that I among others used) has been that the network is the bottleneck holding the performance down, and added CPU power would not help very much.

So, as the bandwidth increases, and the network bottleneck disappears, what will be the new bottleneck that people will be willing to spend premium $ to overcome?
