Thread: I haven't been able to find much info on the idea of a Internet Tracking stock. If someone could please answer a few questions.

Is this a brand new issue or a spin off from the current stock? Would I as a MSFT shareholder get some of the new stock, or would I just have to buy shares like anyone else? It seems if they are planning on splitting the books, then the current stock would not have as much value, and maybe have less upside due to the fact that the internet companies are not part of MSFT stock anymore.

Am I missing something here?
