John, smells a little MUSK-y. <g>

What would happen if you took the Max-pain theory and weighted it to reflect the fact that the contracts that are already pretty much gone probably won't affect the outcome that much?

For example, going into today, calls/puts were 5145/5495 in the 50's and 4366/2648 in the 55's, 3626/2236 in the 60's.

But what did that look like 2 days ago?

Could you have seen an options-related reversal coming?

Is there any way to get historical OI data, say for the 3 closest series starting w/ the Wed. of X week going back a few years?

Have there been any serious scientific studies analyzing Mountain Dew v. Jolt X2 Citrus Climax v. that caffeinated water stuff that tastes like Stoly with all the fun removed in terms of most cost-effective caffeine delivery a chilled-non-coffee-beverage? <g>

Good trading,

Tom
