I think "this is all I have to make love to" is a VERY good line. Kind of overt, and I definitely would have run the other way, fast, myself, because there just isn't a snappy comeback, unless you want to respond with something just as overt. But I think men who take care of their possessions are excellent choices, and to equate taking care of a prized possession with making love may indicate that he is a generous, thorough bedmate. Plus he told you he didn't have a steady woman, which is a plus. Unless he never has a steady woman because he is a dork. And unless he treats women like things. So far so good, but keep your eyes open. Edit: I think he also may have told you that he doesn't like "pickup" type sex, but maybe I am reading too much into it.
