Our seasonal preferences are the same, although lately I have become more sensitive to the shortness of the days in winter, and feel more put upon when it is very snowy, so I am less sanguine about it then I used to be. On the other hand, there is the Christmas season, and then we got married in February, followed by Valentines day, followed by my sons birthday in early March, so there are many pleasant things to celebrate. The closest I have gotten to the Catskills was driving along the Hudson up to Albany from NYC. I would love to see an old fashioned resort, if they are still there....
