Yeah, and be careful that you specify to the installer that you want a "no hub" cable connection. I specifically told the installer that we wanted a no-hub connection and he still used the wrong type of cable, it took the computer consultant hoursto finally figure out what was going on. Since the cable was fished down walls, we ended up getting a hub anyway. What a mess that was.

But it's more expensive, and I think uncle's trying to save money to buy more Rambus <G>.

p.s. We should probably ask him how much data he plans to move back and forth and what he needs the network for. And since I've now pretty much exhausted my knowledge of networking, I don't have much else to contribute.
