Actually there may be some truth to that...take a look at the AOL, AMZN, CMGI, DELL, and QCOM threads (I could give you plenty of other examples)...some of the investors are free spirits and independent BUT many want to "be a part of the ride" -- assuming we are dealing with a good company <G>....I sure have no problem saying that I have enjoyed my ride on the DELL train...I am still on board but am more diversified than I used to be. IMO, this is one of THE MOST OUTSTANDING threads on SI...and I have been a part of quite a few of them.

When it comes to investing in tech stocks individuals need to do their own homework and get comfortable with their investments. Yet, the internet investment communities (like SI) fascilitate A LOT of healthy dialogue, sharing and learning. I have even met some GREAT friends on this thread.

I need to sign off....one of my cult members is calling <G>!!
