Robert,
One thing I forgot to mention in the CC notes was that SL said that they were "exploring options" for ways to "unlock" the value of their investments. They wanted to do it in a way that wouldn't hurt the underlying company, so you know that he will not sell the stocks. Perhaps he will do just what you suggest, or something like that.
