Thats what Bryan said so I said try navy blue and grey. It's too bad that gold looks like baby ca-ca.

I use a regular monitor.

actually, it looks more copper on my notebook(Dell)....

Ah, but if I adjust the angle of my screen, I get the gold.

I think the copper/navy blue looks pretty sharp, try it.

The gold seems to look acceptable on the home page where it mostly contacts white.

Where it really looks ugly is when it is surrounded by blue... especially the logout button.
(do you really need to make that escape button so prominent?)

(I really like the tan color around the chart on the home page)

note: you need to add 'logout' to the spell checker.
