Hmmm. Interesting methodology. Selling a stock in a strong uptrend which just set a new all-time high on huge volume. And using the proceeds to buy a stock in a wicked downtrend.

Guess we'll see how that works out.

While I know MSFT is a great stock, I just feel it's had it's run lately, and my gut feeling is ATHM is about to have an even greater run

MSFT's court victory shows government (local or federal) has very limited power in telling how a business should be run or controlled. I think ATHM eventually will win in court and maybe AOL should buy ATHM before Paul Allen does. Having said that, however, I believe MSFT's run has just started. MSFT (and its soon Internet spinoff) will outperform ATHM until this open access issue dies down.
