After being defeated by LBJ in the dirtiest campaign I have ever witnessed, he began to fade from the limelight and,as far as anyone knows,including you,he never changed any of his viewpoints. So when you said he would be pro-choice today, you were having a pipe dream. I believe they call them bongs. 2.I have not tried to impose Christianity on any one. I have argued with some about the Scriptures and let it be known that I was a Christian. Previous posts by me have clearly stated that I was not necessarily in favor of posting the 10 commandments in public schools. In one post I said that they didn't need to be posted because the Christian children already knew them and the others could care less. The posting of them would,in fact, hardly be noticed. 3.If any scientologist is opposed to the Republican platform, that suits me fine. I read L. Ron Hubbard's book and almost puked. I was approached on Hollywood Blvd. but some of their wierdos and their approach was offensive and overbearing. Tom Cruise is a pretty good movie personality and I have enjoyed a number of his movies but, I would never classify him as a model citizen. What about "Eyes Wide Shut". It can almost be classified as smut. And, I am not a prig. 4. When you go trying to assume how Goldwater would think today and then try to put words in my mouth that I never said, you are showing just how shallow you really are. All you really care about is the advancement of your career. There are other things in the world. TD
