Yes, that last referenced statement was rather pathetic. I can't even think of a single synthetic CPU benchmark where the K6-2/300 beats the PII/400. If there is one, I would assume it would have to be HEAVILY 3DNow! optimized.

(Of course, you could do a FMUL, NOP, NOP, NOP, FMUL, NOP, NOP, NOP... , but that's just plain silly :)).
