bp: RE: Acrobat Reader

Wish I could help. At one time I think I needed an upgrade. I must admit I often rely on the kid to take care of such problems <gg>. He returns August 9 for a brief stay between his MIT and Princeton stops and I'll have a list waiting. Didn't you recommend RMBS to your son? In January we were talking QCOM and RMBS for that first IRA but decided to wait until he knew what his grad school situation would be. I am kicking myself for not telling him to go ahead. He doesn't seem to mind missing two terrific runs since he has years to make it up. Ah, youth!

Sorry I can't help with Acrobat problem. I sure hope we see more promotions of all sorts with that "Rambus Partner" prominently displayed. Too cool.

Good luck, dmf

Betty,

What version of Acrobat reader do you have? I am running Internet Explorer 5.0 with Acrobat reader 4.0 - Works fine.

Some of the older versions do not launch automatically from your browser. I believe you must have version 3.0 or 4.0 for this feature to work.

However, you can right click on the link and use the "Save Target As" function to save it to your disk or desktop. Then you should be able to view it by just double clicking the file. (Provided Acrobat is installed)

As there are now many .PDF documents on the web, (Rambus has many on their site) I would recommend updating to the current version of Acrobat reader. This makes the whole operation seamless from your browser.

Regards,

Jim
