we live in corrupt times. whisper number is published on the web at www.whispernumber,. etc and 2 or 3 other places.
there is also a whispered whisper number that we never hear about.
it is all designed to make you nervous and sell.
i am very cynical

Bill, another site (hope I have it correct) I use has dozens of other sites linked to it and it has a whisper site.
It is members.tripod.com
Page down to EPS and over to "whispers" and that will take you to a site that gives the numbers usually a few weeks before earnings release. Some of us try to guess the numbers just for fun. Nothing serious here.
