I agree 100% ,with that.I have traded this stock a few Months back and only a handfull of small orders would push the stock 1/2 point.Either MM's are shorting like hell or loading to sell on the big run next week. With the kind of volume we got today we should have seen at least 3 or better before any pullbacks.
Now I dont have a legit source, but the person that mentioned the rumor at Yahoo, also said before the bell today that he spoke with the CEO and there would be 3 pr's.One would be today after the bell(and it did happen)and one more on Monday and either Tuesday or Wendsday for the 3rd one.He also said that the significant news that will move the stock will be out on Monday. So,I have every reason to believe him since it already prove him self.Another thing about OSFT,I remember last time I traded it,we had somebody on the message board that would call every PR before it's time,so it seems the news leak on the street all the time with this company. If Monday dont happen, then it wont happen at all.
BUT IF THE NEWS ARE REAL!!!!!!THEN WE WILL MAKE TONS OF MONEY HERE!!!

Here's the only thing that I can think of right now ....

They are keeping the price in a tight range to keep the daytraders out as much as possible. And the MM are loading up for "THE RUN". They know that the NEWS has leaked, even if WE are still in the dark, someone knows, and if the stock just took off, it would give too much credibility to the rumor. If this stock is only moving 1/16 or 1/8 it makes it harder for daytraders to make any money on this unless they have a ton of shares. Plus, the average daytrader loses interest fairly quickly. If the stock isn't moving, they will move on to the next play.

Oh well ... if the rumors are true, the MMs will not be able to hold this down. By the way, 2 big blocks after hours. 52,200K and 120,900K.
MMs covering for the next leg up is my guess... no one in their right mind would put that much money into a $1.50 stock ...

See you at the finish line... this story is not finished

TraderGreg, Is the float 4M only? What about the private placements? This company seems to be desperate for $$$. Long term it looks not so good. It could be a nice news play for the coming week, though. The risk of dilution can't be ignored. If anybody has a different opinion please respond.

From: biz.yahoo.com

"dilution of the value of the Company's common shares as a result of the conversion of the Series D and Series E preferred stock and the exercise of the warrants issued in the December 1998 and March 1999 private placements"

"The Company anticipates that it's existing working capital will be sufficient to fund its operations at least through October 31, 1999. Continuing operations thereafter will depend on cash flow operations and the ability to raise additional funds through equity, debt or other financing. There can be no assurance, however, that such funds will be available. "

"The Company raised $1,800,000 (net of expenses) in connection with a private financing of Series E Preferred Stock consummated on March 17, 1999. The Company intends to meet its long-term liquidity needs through available cash and cash flow as well as through additional financing from outside sources. On February 19, 1999, the Company entered into a letter of intent with a New York Stock Exchange member firm for a proposed underwritten secondary public offering of up to $20 million of Common Stock."
