Casaubon,

Thankx for the heads up on WMAR ... I don't think I will trade that one; I'll just watch it and see what it does. Thing I dont like about it is that it does slope down to a degree also it didn't break out much there.
-that's why it's nice to get others opinions or you might not think of things like that-

So your're thinking we will have a nice rise in CENT in the next couple of days? I personally would be a bit apprehensive about going long in that one since the trend is overall down (I can't place trades well during the day and I might think other wise if I could see more what is going on during the day).

btw I can't remember now, but do you have Nison's first book? I have Morris's and I was thinking about getting Nison's (thinking the reference may be better). You seem to know your candles fairly well.

again I am glad you pointed out the lack of strength in WMAR; I think I was thinking too positive about this one.

I am slightly concerned about the fact that there are a ton of charts reaching new highs and I think next week is when last year the DOW dropped alot. One of my protective measures may be to always make sure I have a short or put in my mist; thinking I will give 1/3 of my portfolio over to the short side.

oh I missed that at first the old trendline there. I wonder if that will be a strong reversal point? In my weekly chart the candle of this week looks like a hammer and has decent volume.
