Red,
Overall, on SI and SW, I have seen many (but not all) short sighted comments, and most navel gazing about how the stock will react on Monday or next week.....I have commented at some length on other threads, however, in summary, IMO, these are good results. They point to the single phase aspect of the dyke and CONSISTENCY of grade....what do I think this means.....as there is a "results driven dynamic" at work here, I now think that, once the grade and thickness contour maps for the drilled portion of the dyke are prepared, Winspear will obtain a "memorandum of understanding" from a commercial banker(my first guess is Deutsche Bank given their diamond expertise and the small amount of capital involved-$US230 million for 3000 tonne per day operation) on financing development of Snap Lake, subject to permits and final feasibility...IF only say 70% is debt financing, brokerages will clamor to be the lead underwriter(brokerages are afterall in the business of selling stock eh?), and it will likely be done at much higher prices....probably, it would be a bought deal by institutions/funds without retail participation(and perhaps sold by Deutsche Banke Securities to European funds?)....I suppose this stock will now be too boring for many of the current shareholders...no doubt many will move on for more excitement elsewhere, while older, bigger, more patient and less risk tolerant money gets positioned-we are talking about a mining situation that can produce and pay dividends for probably over 50 years or more, and what will diamonds sell for then eh? This is EXACTLY the kind of long term situation funds and institutions look for:-))I don't give a rats ass what people do Monday or next week....the results are now in and my stock is tucked away for big gains.....gotta go freshen up my drink:-))yahoo
