Tornado dreams again last night... Actually more like "funnel cloud" dreams. I was in some rickety shed and kept going outside to check the sky to watch for twisters. The sky was vastly different each time I went outside. At the beginning of the dream, it looked like a "real sky", but as the dream progressed, the sky became more surreal and finally totally abstract. At first it was filled with ominously heavy steel-like clouds with funnels trailing from them... Then there was this strobe-light effect and the cloud shapes would twitch forward with each flash... gradually accelerating to a crazy speed. Then the clouds started to flash rapidly from white to black to white like alternating positive and negative images on a B&W film negative... Toward the end of the dream, the sky turned into something abstract like one of VanGogh's ink sketches... black squiggly spirals and undulating lines spinning across the sky like torn up pieces of paper blowing apart in the wind.... A very strange dream indeed...
