These comments are all very interesting to read, but Smart Money just printed an article about the way engineers that are high quality are being brain drained away by others. It particularly talks about a founder of ascend who sold out and is now with another start up.(I wish I had access to Smart Money.Com so I could refer everyone to the article).

Isn't it possible the idea for New Access and Charlottes Web came with the engineers that are leading those companies and in order to get and keep the talent with small paychecks is give them a big piece of the action (60% of a loaf is better than 0% or 100% of nothing,) however you want to look at it. As far as Hyperchannel, they got a guy from Cisco or IBM running it. Do you think he would have defected without some kind of eventual payoff? (supposedly, they are already showing sales).

Web...I hope you had a good nights sleep and re-think your position on personalities. Sector is right, but went very lightly on his position. I might have been a little more abrasive with my opinion on Roktar.

<<I believe akmike is right about the 60% ownership of HyperChannel with a $1.5M investment by MRVC according to internal info

Ron, are you saying the 10-K report for 1998 is wrong?

It seems quite clear to me, if the 10-K is correct:

"The consolidated financial statements include the accounts of the Company and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, NBase Communications, Inc., NBase Communications, Ltd. (Nbase Ltd.), NBase Europe GmbH (Nbase Europe), NBase Fibronics, Ltd. (Fibronics), Netsoft Solutions, Ltd. (Netsoft), Turnkey, Kempton Communications, Nbase Xyplex, its 70 percent-owned subsidiary, EDSLAN SRL (EDS) and its 50 percent-owned subsidiary, RDS. All significant intercompany transactions and accounts have been eliminated."
