Zainul,

I sell naked puts and naked calls and have been for 15 years or so. You said selling naked puts was safer than selling naked calls, but if we have another 87 crash you will soon find out that selling puts is much more dangerous then selling naked calls IMO! I have to admit this is not so much the case since the internet stocks have come along, but a stock can be cut in half in a matter of days if not in a matter of minutes where as for a stock to double it takes a lot more time in most cases except where there is a buy out. But I usually do not sell naked calls on stocks that are take over canidites. Think about this and let me know your thoughts. Also would appreciate some of your naked put and call positions. My positions that I have naked calls sold on now include AOL, AMZN, CMGI, CUST, NSOL, and YHOO. Most of these were sold a couple of months ago and are 20 to 60 points out of the money now. As an example I have the $200, $220 and $240 calls sold on YHOO the $150 and higher calls sold on CMGI. My naked put positions include DO, RDC, and STEI.
