You are correct. I believe it's the "segmentation" thing. Since the K6's are/will be non-existent ( even AMD posters have come to this conclusion ) there is nothing else in the value PC segment that AMD offers. So, by default, the low MHz K7 variety will drop down to the lowest segment. By association, the higher MHz K7's also will drop. With no K6-2 or K6-3 to "cushion" the fall, a customers only non-Intel choice will be the K7, in this segment. IMHO. Sorry Scumbria.
