IW,

Thank you for your response. My frustration comes from them not informing their customers before the change occurred. Or maybe they did and I just missed it---my fault. I am sure that all brokers experience these difficulties from time to time. I'm not talking about changing brokers as much as adding another broker for the short term positions.

If you have traded with E*Trade for any length of time, you have probably experienced the same delays in execution I am talking about. This change to the new site just seem to compound the problem and I think their timing was poor. You put your order in and don't know where you stand for several minutes which is critical at the busiest times of the day, the open and the close. Maybe I just need to do a better job of taking into account that E*Trade or any other discount broker is going to be slow in executing. However, I would like to try a more direct broker such as MB Trading or the Executioner for my short term portfolio.

I still like the stock but just not the service for my short term positions.
