As to plays.. I disagree. They are novels, or whatever, just mostly in dialogue. I love reading them. As to Shakespeare, I've never read a play by him. I've read a few sonnets but that was just a couple of years ago. I've cracked the plays open from time to time over the years and couldn't get into them. I did enjoy the movie of "Henry V" and would like to see "A Midsummer's Night Dream".

There's no law saying that you have to enjoy Shakespeare, Michael. <g> But you gotta admit that a lot of people do enjoy him, and that he has more than a "cult following" in "Academe."
