We do everything with the kids....cruise hits Ketchican, then Skagway, Juneau, Valdez and Seward..then by land with Suburban rental (had to bribe someone big time to get car in Seward)...anyone wanting to make a fortune should start a car rental in Seward ...there is only one and many of the big ships end their cruises there...Hertz people turned down 50 reservations for day of my arrival! By land will hit Kenai and then up to Denali (time permitting).....lined up a cabin on a working elk ranch in a place called Homer (end of road) Kenai Peninsula...family run thing with bunch of their own kids....if I find a computer somewhere I will try to report in any sightings or other good stuff on this thread.
