The networks are downright giddy they have a REAL STORY. This is a very tragic incident that each one of the networks are exploiting. By the time the day is over, the public will be expert in piloting small plans.

>>So are the FOX anchors/reporters, regarding the assassination of JFK Jr. and they aren't doing a very convincing job of it.

The Kennedys - tragic that the good ones, they die young. Let's all hope Jr., wife and in-law survive.

Do you really think that Jr. was assassinated because he was Peter Lawford's son and not a real Kennedy?

If Jr. is gone he will be missed because he was his generation's good Kennedy, displaying the class and integrity so sorely lacking in his extended family. Jr. was the anti-Teddy in that respect.

All I've heard for sure was his plane didn't arrive. No wreckage, bodies or any assassination.

<<Our culture discourages Women from protecting themselves. >>

You haven't met my wife. She has a sawed off, custom fitted 12 ga with 5 rounds of #4 buckshot under the bed. When she goes any place out of town she carries a .357. Self defense is not a problem for her.

The nasty NRA holds classes just to teach women defensive shooting.

>Why would you be "so dang angry" to hear about that incident? I repulse you... <

Well lorrie, I do not know you, and so cannot in reality be repulsed by you (though I am indeed repulsed by your comprehensively dumb ideas). Even so, had I been able to, I would have blown the friggin brains out of your assailant. It has nothing to do with you really, though I would probably like you quite a lot were we to kick the can face-to-face. It has to do with my concept of integrity. I grow incensed when I hear of unanswered entries to the moral ledger. Fortunately I know that in the end, all will be brought into parity.

>I think you are attempting to conceal your Joy!<

Then you aren't thinking.

>So are the FOX anchors/reporters, regarding the assassination of JFK Jr. and they aren't doing a very convincing job of it. Paula Zahn is downright Giddy!<

Well I wouldn't know anything about that. To me Jr. was just some guy too stupid to know he wasn't experienced enough to fly a Saratoga in unfavourable conditions. Surely it is tragic, but so are lots of things in life. After I read about JFK Jr. yesterday, I took a long swim, showered and went to a party with my wife. I don't think I have thought of it until this morning (perhaps someone mentioned it last night). I just can't understand how folks get so dang wrapped up in the lives of celebrities that they actually start wailing (The Pricess Di thing was dang hilarious). This is likely why the news folk are so dang happy. They are friggin' with your emotions.

>Your suggestion to all Women to feel comfortable with killing in self-defense is a very pregnant idea. Our culture discourages Women from protecting themselves.<

Bleep the dang culture, lorrie. My wife has a weapon and is dang ready to use it. Nearly all my children have some knowledge of guns, the oldest ones having quite a good deal of experience with them. The dang culture tells me I should not do this. It wants no one to defend himself. Think I care? Heck naw. Too many folks are too dang afraid to look weird. So to fit in they let the culture think for them. When they find themselves hurt or unsatisfied they then want to blame the culture or other folk for their problems and not themselves.

>Women are desensitized to misogyny and this creates a general lack of common sense in some individuals...as once upon a time, was my case.<

Don't be tawkin' ‘bout no “women,” coey. You bes be tawkin' ‘bout yoself. “Women” aren't desensitised to misogyny, at least no more than men are desensitised to rabid man-hating feminism. Some women are desensitised to misogyny because they never had fathers to train them in how a man should treat a woman. A whole lotta women out there are craving the strong gentle love of a man, and having never really had it from their fathers they jump at the first apparent opportunity that presents itself to them. They just don't have enough dang self-respect to demand the highest of the men they encounter. That is the dang problem. And many men don't have enough self respect to conduct themselves as gentlemen should.

It really came to me as no dang surprise at all that you have had difficulty with your dad, and in many such cases women enter the world terribly vulnerable to doggish men. They often end up getting crushed. Strong loving fathers are an absolute requirement to building a healthy self-respecting woman. And wise nurturing mothers are absolutely required in building strong loving fathers.

That's how I see it. If folk here disagree, then too dang bad.

>Happiness is a warm side arm.<

You go girl.

>Thanks for your "concern".

You're “welcome.”
