just went to this setting. one setting for standby, one setting for turn off monitor, one setting for turn off hard disks. wow

which one to i use or do i use all three?

I don't think you'd want your fans to stop. Heat is the big enemy of computers. Your fans are your system's protection. Some systems have sensors to slow or stop the fans when the case is cool inside.

P.S. If you had an icecube, mousetrap, and popsicle stick, you could set the trap to inject the popsicle stick into the fan to stop the blades once the icecube has melted. You may need some duct-tape to get this to work.
