Hi Jim!

The draw back of Point and Figure charts is that they are most bullish at the top and most bearish at the bottom. Therefore you need to run a BP to shall we say measure the sentiment. As the sentiment increases above 70% you know you are nearing a top. Then a buy signal in the Point and Figure chart is not as meaningful as a buy signal when the BP is below 30%. The other side of the same coin is that a sell signal when the BP is below 30% is not as meaningful as a sell signal when the BP is above 70%. Each compliments the other. Hope I made my self clear.
