Appliance companies are very reluctant to use Sun's Java and a Sun OS. Much better to keep Sun honest and use another OS instead. That's why VxWorks has had more design wins with Java than all the other OS's put together, this includes Sun own embedded OS. I think Sun is well aware of this.

I noticed that Jim Jubak on MSN Investor is having a poll on the 50 best stocks for the next five years. Stocks that should be "global winners" in five years. Being an optimist, I nominated WIND for the list.
