While the water is running ---

As you can guess, I don't have a lot of faith in TA for this stock. I think it is a unique situation for now.

My favorite stock predictors, which have almost never failed me, are what I call my Perverse Indicators.

#1 - I know when a market is going to crash when I can't escape a cocktail party without at least a half dozen stories from people telling me how much money they made. It happened here in New England in the 1980's real estate market so it's not just the stock market where my perverse indicator works. When my cleaning lady told me how she was doing apartment conversions, I sold all my real estate. Phew!! Thank goodness.

The stock market is starting to get like that and I am getting nervous. If the market crashes, yes, MCOM will go down, but so will everything else. My discussions on this board assume no major crash.

2) When the shorts are out with a vengence, I have never failed to make money long. Take a look at the put/call volume and premiums. They are way in favor of the puts. People are shorting this and buying puts like crazy.

The depth (and maybe depravity) of the posts on Yahoo, which I stopped reading further enhanced this Perverse Indicator.

If this all sounds stupid, all I can say is it works for me a lot better than some goofy charts which one can interpret in so many ways, particularly ex post facto.

Now I like to hear what people say about their charts, don't get me wrong. But when they say it's gospel, well you know they aren't just day traders, their soon to be gone traders.
