SUNW is working on Ultra Sparc III which is 18 micron. Have I heard of one micron chips worked on by HWP? No.

Rascal, I'm not the smartest person on the planet, however, the article in the USA Today regarding computers that use impulses to spin atoms into a 1 or 0 seems feasible. I had a professor in college who occasionally brought up this idea. We thought he was nuts. Now it appears he was thinking ahead. Quantum mechanics is not something I know very well, but with all the brains on this thread I'll bet someone does. JMO, FWIW.

Have a nice day.
