Hiram: Hey one reason I am heavily in Harmonics (HLIT) is your quality posts, so agree with most of what you say. But doesn't HLIT have a subsidiary on the cutting edge of data transmission using satellites?

Chaz

PS And since I have WCII, TNGT and NXLK I agree that fixed wireless has major last mile potential.

PPS And agree that MMDS may pass them like they are standing still.

Hiram, please comment on the potential payload sizing, the modes of operation (burst/dedicated bw/802.xx), and the typical traffic profiles that the MCI and FON systems will permit - what speeds and modes they will support, in other words - when these services are eventually unveiled and made available for public consumption. Also, when?

How will these compare to 3G/IMT-2000 service packaging arrangements? Will there be any overlap or integration of same?

Thanks, Frank Coluccio
