Tero better watch what he says about the Q's phone manufacturing business. Earnings report comes out Monday and people like me will repost his predictions so we can judge his vision.

They had their shot at becoming a force in mobile phones - in 1998 they had an unquestionable lead in a wide-open CDMA phone market in their own back yard. According to Dataquest, they ended up halving their US market share in digital phones this year: just when they should have surged ahead. In 1999 the Asian assault combined with Motorola's CDMA Startac and Nokia's CDMA 61xx will take them to the cleaners. Ericsson is scheming to launch an all-out assault in the US GSM and TDMA markets simultaneously. This company already has a solid brand and they have already displayed a willingness to outspend *anyone*, including Nokia. It will be a charnelhouse.

charnel house n. 1. A building, room or vault in which the bones or bodies of the dead are placed.

Woe to investors who listen to drivel.

The SEC rules says that they HAVE to buy the calls when it is more than 3/8 (or 3/16?) in the money. they have NO choice. If they do not, you will win and not even have to go to the NASD arbitrator. Just ask for an SEC seizure of the entire E*Trade organization. Also keep track of trading and opportunites that you want to trade on that you will MISS while they abuse their ignorance. It all comes back into Punitive damages.

Waterhouse is finally almost getting it while they discuss issues wiht a few various regulatory organizations.......
