AOL??? I would choose to suffer the loss of the ISP for a week.<g> That wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't sitting on a case of MSPR Ale and a nescaCREE chaser.

Very exciting about Elvis Jr.! I'm gonna need an address. No, it's not for a gift. It's so I can unload 8 years worth of kids crap on a couple of doe-eyed new parents<g>. "Damn boy, them stains ain't gonna hurt nothin'. Tell 'em it's chocolate."

I bet Mom is ready for a Margarita.

FOUND PUPPY.

Yesterday I went to Safeway and in the front was this little sweet Cocker spaniel (I think) maybe Cockapoo that someone had left. She was tied to a sign with a blue and white ribbon and left with a bowl of water. She has a tag but no one is responding to inquiries.

The poor thing was very dirty and had many fleas also ear mites. I've bathed her (very cooperative in the bath) but I will also take her to get a flea dip and have her ears cleaned and treated with some medicine. Otherwise, she looks healthy and has the sweetest temperament.

Last night she laid with me while I read my book, laying her head on my chest without insisting on being pet. Right now she is napping here next to me with here little paws twitching away. Tiny little thing.

Here is the deal. With Sammy (50lbs bigger than this dog) being jealous by nature and a hunting dog she might mistake this little peachums for a squirrel. That wouldn't be good for the little ones health. If the owners don't respond I'll need to find a home for her. I don't want to take her to the pound because she is so precious and such
a love I'd really like to find someone that I can keep tabs on how she is doing. Her name is Pepper, probably because she is black with a little white/grey here and there.

She know how to sit but that is about it. She gives kisses and will stand and dance around on her hind legs.

I can't tell you how cute she is!

If anyone out there has any interest in this little one please let me know. I'm giving the owners a couple of days and then she is available. She will be delivered clean and free of fleas and with happier ears than she has now.

Thanks all, I really hope to find her a wonderful home!
