In a red-hot nasdaq market, after announcing a 2-1 stock split and beating Q1 estimates by ~23%, QLGC was unable to make a new high last Friday. Without the one-time $3.5M income(already disclosed to analysts last quarter), QLGC would have reported 44c, a penny lower than previous qtr.

I am wondering if competition from TI, LSI, and Adaptec is finally catching up with the company, causing price errosion & margin contraction.

Something to keep an eye on.
