One question I have guys....

Because the LEAPS convert into 9 month expiry calls (9 months before expiration), and I have been told the time value expires pretty fast, here's the question...

1- Am I better to SELL my 2001 LEAPS in March next YEAR (2000) and roll them forward to 2002 ?

2- Sell them in May 2000, and roll to 2003 ? Please note that they will be calls at that time, with 2 months of time value lost. ?

3- If I hold to expiry, and exercise, do I lose too much time value ?i.e. 3rd Friday January 2001.

Let me know guys...

This is the best thread (with the G&K thread) on SI.

Take care
Jean

I bought my 2002 110 LEAPs at 14.5 and 16.5. So you've got a leg up on me!
