I'm somewhat mystified by Jim's attempt to take credit for "MHz sells". There were a "few" people in the
industry who were aware of this concept before Jim started posting it on SI.


Maybe Jim has been studying the Microsoft modus operandi!

I'm sure there were but marketing doesn't seem to be a silicon valley forte'. What mystifies me is that such a simple concept can be so hard to grasp. Seems I remember you coming on SI touting, IDT, then Cyrix and now AMD......ALL MHZ LOSERS. (Granted AMD may now be the MHZ leader). If the concept was so easy to grasp why weren't you investing in Intel? Of course many Intel faithful, believe it's "Intel Inside" that sells but being the MHZ leader sure helped the cause.
