Shafik, That is interesting, so you're saying that you actually get full ARCA order-working capability from ABW?? I checked this out a few months ago, and at the time determined that only MBT and X have that. I plan to visit Terranova soon, and will get the full story. In the meantime, please share any more info you have on that. BTW, are you (ALWAYS) using limit orders with ARCA? Market orders on ARCA introduce problems:)

Yes, CyberTrader has some great features, but it requires "the perfect ISP" and internet conditions, else you are hosed a good % of the time. Integrating QCharts with (only) their order-entry screen seems like a good approach. Still, you need a good brokerage behind it - that is #1, and that's where they're the weakest. I did mailed brokerage statements, BTW; their problems were just lame answers, no follow through, not doing stuff, stalling, not returning calls, not knowing the answers they should know, passing things off to someone else, escalating then getting no further progress, and a lot more stuff like that. In a word, to characterize them: "Lame". MBT is the opposite extreme, in those areas. I have no affiliation with either; and really no axe to grind; just reporting the facts.

That's amazing that you can trade calls and puts in your IRA, over at ABW. I'm going to move my IRA accounts there from Schwab immediately. I traded options full-time for a year, and am very active in the OEX. Just by trading the OEX in an IRA, I will retire much earlier <GG>!

Question for you: aren't you seeing a lot of "down time" over on ABW? I read about it in the threads... times when you "can't trade", and are locked out? That's one of my biggest concerns about them.

Regards,

-Steve
