Nancy, Thanks for your reply. I would agree with your investment style to keep in mind the long term perspective and not to be frightened out of a stock just because its sinking. But there really is a fundamental difference between a stock like rmbs and a scam like fonx However its just smart to keep in mind that staying long is only healthy as long as the fundamentals are not worsening. If that what made you buy a stock is changeing, you have to reconsider your investment. Of course I still believe that Voice will be the BIG thing. And so will all the companies that are part of this revolution. But is fonx really a part of it???? Think of why you originally bought fonx. Didn't you believe their hype at the time that they would really have THE revolutionary technology that would make them the unquestioned industry leader? Didn't you have in mind that there was a strong strategic relationship with Siemens, didn't you believe Al Waddil's and outher IR hypesters promises of "sure" following Statements of Work? And can you tell me that fonx has even one other relationship/deal with another high tech company that doesn't base on an acquisition? What did so far happen with their core technology? Simply nothing. It speaks for itself that we have to mention that >>Lernout is buying technology from Fonx, that says something. General Magic also has Fonx technology>> That that fonix tech that you speak of is NOT an originally fonx speech tech. Both products were acquired, and for a price that you can call just foolish if you keep in mind that just through their crazy acquisition policy they had to lend money from loan sharks, sell their convertible stock and open the doors to the death spiral financing. The amount that lhsp pays for powerscribe, may seem from the $$$ as nearly the same that fonix at that time paid for it. But, remember that the price for this wasn't just the $$$$, but incredible dilution due to the death spiral financing. When I originally invested in fonx, there were about43 mio shares outstanding. Now we hAVE ????? and fonx approved already to issue 200 mio shares. Alone this will prevent the stock to see $3 again. The only thing that a fonx "investment" is useful for at this moment, seems to be that the MM games allowed lately to make some nice daytrading money. But as I heard from some fonix staff they believe themselves that the company won't do it longer than this year, I doubt that this is the investment to hold long term. As you ask for my motives. I spent so much time trying to understand this company, building up contacts...., that I guess my interest in this comes from habit. I'm just sometimes curious and amused to see what happens here or on yahoo. Maybe the best explanation is that sometimes heretics feel a need to preach their new ideas. So maybe I turned from Saulus to paulus or if you'd prefer from Paulus to Saulus!!! (LOL) ;-) Again, good luck and a nice Sunday. Juan
