If it rallies as you expected, do you want to sell before earnings release on Thursday ???

Vendit:

I've noticed the same trend of late Friday sell offs in tech stocks, and while I'm not much into short term trades, I've made a few $$ for tax payments playing that trend, i.e. taking some short positions between noon and 2 pm, and closing them out before 4 pm. The late Friday sell off trend seems to be more pronounced in the Inets, in stocks that have run up either the day before or the Friday morning, and now that Summer's here. I agree that the effect is probably due to traders taking cash off the table before the weekend. "The trend is your friend" -- why not profit a bit from it?
